Cowan International’s client, a leader in the Construction industry, is looking to fill a critical Marketing Coordinator role.

Reporting to the President, the Marketing Coordinator will re-engineer the company’s project data and marketing materials.

Report directly to the President
Organize all internal project real-time and historical data
Compile, organize and bring to your colleagues’ fingertips employee CVs, electronic document templates, pricing data, proposals, and sub-contractor files
Put all of the company’s critical marketing ‘ducks in order’
Equip a company rich in legacy clients and partnerships with more speed and efficiency
Organize and issue all forms of internal and external communications, namely a new company newsletter and website
Process faster and better client recognition materials, enhancing the current program that is in place
Equip the company to not only reinforce flagship client relationships, but put the company in a position to potentially win business more actively in a market that is waiting to be taken
Occasionally nurture an exciting JV partnership that spans across the country
Help facilitate expansion into the mission critical sector

A highly passionate, energetic organizer
A go-to, right-hand support to a company President and other company leaders for everything marketing
A ‘roll-up the sleeves’, ‘one-person-show’ self-starter
A safety net for company marketing and communications relevant internal data
Able to support multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced work environment
Strong at ‘connecting the dots’ and jump-starting the no-nonsense fundamental processes that are needed
An active doer, not in leading a marketing department, but rather driving marketing and information accessibility functions
Seamlessly bilingual, spoken and written, as much with big brand out-of-province anglophone clients and JV partner, as you are with predominantly francophone in-house office and site project teams

A Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Marketing or related discipline
1-3 years experience working for a Construction company in a marketing role
A fiery passion to organize and streamline project data and marketing processes
Knowledge in many facets of marketing
Experience with bid/tendering process (RFP, RFQ) advantageous, but not essential
Excellent communication and decision-making skills
English-French bilingualism
