Business Development Manager - Americas

We are recruiting a Business Development Manager – Americas. Our client is a leading international company in the manufacture and supply of explosives, initiating systems and blasting services for the mining, construction and quarrying sectors. We are looking to speak with candidates who has excellent business development skills & experience AND a very good understanding of the explosives/mining industry. The ideal candidate will already be based in the Ontario region.

THE OPPORTUNITY

The incumbent will create and carry out sales plans, meet sales targets in designated accounts, and expand into new markets in the Americas through efficient business development, channel management, and support.

YOU ARE

• A Canadian citizen (not negotiable)
• Already based in Ontario
• Willing to travel

YOU BRING

• A relevant commercial and/or technical tertiary qualification
• 7 - 10 years of working experience in account management/business Development
• Strategic account management experience in the mining and/or explosives services Industry
• Proven track record of successful customer/sales engagements/relationships within the mining industry
